Writing for the PhD - Balancing work and writing
How do you balance all you have to do with writing, which is one of our main tasks for the PhD? Plus, the Music Highlight

Some people do:
only the Phd (as some call it, but it is never *only*): this entails various responsibilities like teaching, researching, assisting professors and so on.
the PhD and some other type of work (like myself, I teach and counsel students full-time)
the PhD and parent
the PhD and are caregivers
or combinations of the above, even three or four at a time.
Whatever you do, you deserve the biggest congratulations ever!
How do you do it all?
Do you soemtimes have days go by that you cannot find time to write or do your research? It can be really hard to balance work and writing, and be in the mood even to write after working the whole day.

The Music Highlight
Was there ever a singer or band that you were embarrassed to admit you liked when you were young?
For me, it was New Kids on the Block! I have no idea why, they are amazing! And they still tour and I have heard they are spectacular!
