Guest lecture at MEF University, Turkey

Meeting new teachers and learning from and with them! Plus, the Music Highlight

On Thursday morning, I had the huge honour of visiting my good colleague Sukru Nural’s wonderful class of ELT student teachers at MEF University in Istanbul, as a guest speaker!

I spoke with them in the first part about the Human Touch that is necessary in a classroom, first and foremost to create a safe and beneficial environment for the learners and the teachers as well. The second segment was on Professional Development as teachers, in order for us to bring back great ideas to the classroom, to motivate ourselves and our students and so much more.

What a great experience I had and what amazing students, some of whom are already teaching - and I am grateful for everything I also learned from all of them today👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
